Goodbye, Dad... Walk softly toward that gate As you hear the angels' song, Never fear in His arms As they guide you, oh so strong... Go to that better place; Find comfort in His love, Know how many lives you've touched As you walk among those doves... Your search for home is finally over As Our Father draws you near, As he removes all pain and illness And there is no more worldly fear... A better father ne'er existed On this earth than you have been, So go find peace in that better place Until we can all join you again...
